Moving seasonal tires twice a year takes up your valuable free time and space. With tire storage at GT Tires, you never need to touch your tires again. Our service technicians do all the heavy-lifting, installing your in-season tires and storing your off-season set each winter and spring.

Tire Storage FAQ

How long does tire storage last?
Our tire storage is valid 6-9 months from your date of invoice.

If your tires aren't picked up after 9 months, we will attempt to contact you. There is a 10 day grace period to pick up your tires. If they are not picked up during this period, the tires and rims will be considered abandoned and will be disposed of at the discretion of GT Tires.

What is the tire storage process?

When you provide us with your tires, we will document the size, brand, and tread depth of each tire. This ensures you receive your tires in the same condition as you gave them to us.

Note: It's possible for tires and rims to have damage at the time of possession for storage (ie. scrapes, punctures, bulges). GT Tires is not responsible for condition of tires or rims at the time of taking possession for storage.

How much notice do I need to provide before pick-up/installation?
GT Tires requires no less than 48 hour notice for tires to be picked up or installed. Please reach us at (519) 451-2284.

Are my tires protected during storage?
At GT Tires, we protect your seasonal tires from unnecessary damage by providing a proper storage area. Some motorists choose to store seasonal tires in a home garage, but this may not be the most suitable storage environment. Chemical spills, temperature changes, and exposure to sunlight all have an effect on tires.

At GT Tires, we make sure your tires are:

• Stored in a clean, cool, dark space.
• Placed away from heat or direct sunlight.
• Put on a surface that is free of grease, gasoline, or debris.

Our professionals take special precaution to make sure each of your seasonal tires is secure while in our off-season tire storage facility.
